2024:
As a junior, Alan ran his best 8K at the DBU Invitational with a time of 26:12.

2023:
In his sophomore season, Alan placed an 8K time of 28:01.61 at the Lone Star Conference Championship.

High School:
Hernandez joins TAMIU from Alexander High School. During his time at Alexander, Alan was a dual sport athlete in track & field as. well as cross country. His team was district champions for track and regional qualifiers for cross country. 

Personal:
Born on May 17, 2003, Alan is a native of Laredo Texas. He is the son of Dalia and Mariano Hernandez and brother to Andre, Alexis, Hazel, Isaac, and Annette. Alan will be completing his degree in Engineering.
