Personal: 
Jaylah Lumar is a junior outside hitter for Texas A&M International University and is currently pursuing a degree in Nursing. A native of Spring, Texas, Jaylah is the daughter of Anastasia Brown and Onterio Lumar and was born on March 30, 2006.

2025:
Jaylah started 25 matches and played in 80 sets during her sophomore season at Cisco College under head coach Rene Crockett. Jaylah wrapped up her career at Cisco College on the Dean's List and winning an academic award.

2024:
In her freshman year, Jaylah started in 23 matches and played in 77 sets at Cisco College.

High School:
Attended Spring High School in Spring, Texas, where she graduated in 2024. She was a three-sport athlete, lettering three years in volleyball and basketball and one year in track. Her high school athletic and academic honors include Athlete of the Year, First Team All-District, Class President, Honor Roll, and membership in Mu Alpha Theta. Her biggest high school career highlight was recording the match-winning kill during a hard-fought rally.
