2021: 

Amador competed in one event for the Dustdevils. He ended the season with his best finish being a the OLLU Westside Classic where he placed 55th with time of 32:01.8.

2020: 
Amador competed in four meets for the Dustdevils. He ended with his best finish at the Angelo State Blue and Gold where he placed 50th with a time of 29:02.4. 

2019:
Amador competed in all six meets for the Dustdevils. He ended with a season best finish and time at the UIW Invite, finishing 28th with a time of 23:31.3. At the Lone Star Conference Championship, Amador broke the tape at 28:43.6 and at the NCAA DII South Central Region Cross Country Championship, he completed the 10K with a time of 36:55.6.

2018:
Amador ran a total of four races and his best was as at the Concordia University Invitational (8K) where he finished with a time of 30:15.9, good enough for 16th place. In the Heartland Conference Championship, he posted a time of 30:22.9.

2017:
Amador had an impressive freshman campaign where he competed in all five meets including a top-10 finish at the Islander Splash. The Laredo, Texas product covered the four-mile course in 23:01.5 finishing sixth. He finished 64th at the Heartland Conference Championships running 29:26.0 on the 8,000-meter course at Cessna Activity Center. He recorded a 61st place finish in his collegiate debut at the Norry Hersey Rice Invite in Houston. Recorded a 24th place finish at the IUW Invitational running 28:17.4 for 8K.

High School:
Amador attended Martin High School. He earned All-City honors three times during his four-year career.  
 
Personal:
Marlon is the son of Rosalinda Lopez and has two brothers, Marcos and Kevin. His brother Marcos also competes on the TAMIU cross country team. He chose to attend TAMIU as he wanted to stay closer to home to attend college. Martin Luther King Jr. is the inspirational figure in his life. After graduation he plans on becoming a police officer.
