2019:

Paul started in all 58 games for the Dustdevils this season and was named to the First Team All-Heartland Conference for the second consecutive year after putting up a slash line of .291/.347/.407 and totaled 32 runs and 21 RBI...She finished tied for second on the team in walks (16) and second on the team in hits (58)...Recorded a career-high four hits (4-for-4) including three singles and a double on February 3rd against Tarleton State...Had her first-career two-home run game in a 6-5 victory over No. 5 Texas A&M-Kingsville on April 9th...Compiled a 10-game hitting streak between April 18th and May 3rd...13 multi-hit games on the season...2019 First Team All-Heartland Conference selection. 

2018:
Paul was named the Heartland Conference Freshman of the Year and First Team All-Heartland Conference after hitting .329 with 13 doubles and two home runs to drive in 21 runs and 73 total bases for a slugging percentage of .445. She walked a team-high 15 teams while also scoring 25 times. Her 22 stolen bass tied Taylor Vines’ program record set back in 2006 as the freshman was only caught stealing once. She hit her first career home run against Oklahoma Christian on March 16 with a long ball over the fence in center field. Scored multiple runs in three games with the last coming in the Dustdevils doubleheader sweep over nationally-ranked West Texas A&M. Stole a season-high three bases against St. Edward’s on March 13 in Austin. 
 
High School:
Graduated from Johnson High School in San Antonio where she helped lead the Jaguars to three consecutive district championships. During her senior season, Paul earned MVP honors while also being named Second Team All-District and Academic All-District. She earned First Team All-District recognition as a sophomore and junior after spending her freshman season at Clear Lake High School in Houston.

Born Maya Marie Paul on January 18th, 1999 in San Antonio, Texas. Paul is the daughter of Savanna Paul. She is majoring in systems engineering. After finishing her degree, she wants to work in the field of systems engineering.
