Prior To TAMIU:
The Boyd, Texas native joins the Dustdevils after playing the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons as a member of the Paris Junior College Lady Dragons, a National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I school located in Paris, Texas. During the 2018-19 campaign, Thorpe shot 40 percent from three-point range while scoring double-digit points in 10 games including a season-high 19 points (8-for-12 FG) in a 75-70 victory over Blinn College. After the season, she garnered NJCAA Region XIV (14) All-Academic Team honors and was named Offensive Player of the Year at Paris Junior College.

High School:
Thorpe attended Boyd High School where she garnered the first-team all-district honors and was named 2017 Female Athlete of the Year.
 
Personal:
Thorpe is the daughter of Donna Franklin and she will be pursuing a major on kinesiology.
