Biography

Before TAMIU:
Maria started her collegiate career at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. As a freshman, she was named to the 2023 NJCAA All-Region 11 Second Team and named the ICCAC DI women’s soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.
As a sophomore, she was named to the 2024 NJCAA All-Region First Team and a 3-time ICCAC DI women’s soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.

High School:
Maria attended Unidad Educatica colegio Aragua Estudiantil in Cagua, Aragua.

Personal:
Born on July 1, 2006, Maria comes to TAMIU from Cagua, Aragua, Venezuela. She is the daughter of Marialy and Gabriel and has one sister, Gabriela. Maria is pursuing her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology.
