Personal: 
Andrea Nunez is a sophomore right-side hitter for Texas A&M International University and is currently pursuing a degree in Public Health. A native of Laredo, TX, Andrea is the daughter of Lizette Gutierrez and Pablo Nunez and was born on July 13, 2006.

2025:
Andrea appeared in 14 matches and 34 sets while posting 55 kills, 19 digs, and 63.0 points during her freshman year at UT Arlington under head coach Tania Schatow.

High School:
Andrea Nunez attended John B. Alexander High School in Laredo, Texas, where she graduated in 2025. A four-year volleyball letter winner under coaches Ariana Bermea-Mendoza, Christofer Alonzo, and Michael Vigil, she also competed in track and field during her high school career. Nunez helped lead the Bulldogs to the UIL Class 6A Regional Semifinals (Sweet 16) in 2025 while earning numerous individual honors. She was named the District 30-6A All-Blocker, Laredo Player of the Year, and earned Texas Sports Writers Association Class 6A Third Team All-State recognition. Her combination of dominance at the net, leadership, and consistency made her one of the top volleyball players in the Laredo area during her high school career.
