April Purselley is a freshman defensive specialist / libero for Texas A&M International University and is currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology. A native of Pharr, TX, April is the daughter of Raymond and Linda Purselley and was born on December 6, 2007.

High School:
April Purselley attended PSJA Southwest Early College High School in Pharr, Texas, and graduated in 2026. She played volleyball for four years under head coach Johanna Diaz and was a four-year letterman. Purselley also competed in wrestling, earning two letters, and track and field, earning three letters. During her volleyball career, she recorded 1,117 all-time digs and 634 digs in a single season. Her athletic and academic honors include First Team All-District and Academic All-State recognition.
