2021 (Fall):
Catalina played in 87 sets in 24 matches and finished the season with 337 kills, 291 digs, 21 service aces and 20 assists. 

2021 (Spring): 
Catalina played in 65 sets over 17 matches with 311 kills, 195 digs, seven service aces, and eight assists. 

2019 Second Team All-Lone Star Conference

2019: 
Catalina started in 87 sets in 25 matches with 326 kills, 219 digs, 29 blocks, 21 service aces and 13 assists. Her career best performance came in a 3-1 win at Midwestern State (the program's first ever win over the Mustangs), where she postd 22 kills, eight digs, three blocks and an ace.

2018:
Catalina started in 94 sets in 26 matches with 187 kills, 154 digs, 32 blocks, 13 service aces and 11 assists. Her season best performance came in a five-set win over Newman, where she logged 14 kills, four digs, three blocks and an ace.

High School:
Catalina graduated from Leander High School in Cedar Park, Texas, where she was a two-time All-District player. She earned First Team All-District honors as a senior after averaging 4.3 kills, 3.1 digs and 1.5 blocks per game. During her junior campaign, she was named Second Team All-District. Catalina also lettered four years on the softball diamond. She was also active in the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and YoungLife Club. 
 
Personal:
Catalina is the daughter of John and Natalie Catalina, and has two siblings. She chose to TAMIU because she loved the campus and size of the school. Her uncle, Sam Etcheverry, was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1969 after an eight-year playing career for the Montreal Allouttes. Catalina is majoring in accounting.
