OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (September 22, 2016) - The Texas A&M International University Women's Soccer team continued the 2016 season with a Heartland Conference matchup against Oklahoma Christian. The Dustdevils found themselves on the short end of a 1-4 game, falling to 0-7 overall (0-4 HC).
Freshman midfielder
Cio Bargallo continued her strong season, netting her third goal of the season. Bargallo buried an 18 yard shot from the left side in the 35th minute. The goal brought the Dustdevils even heading to the half. Bargallo's goal was unassisted.
Oklahoma Christian would come out strong in the second half, netting three goals to take the win.
TAMIU finished the night with eight shots, six were on goal.
Kiyana Lopez played all 90 minutes in the net, racking up 10 saves.

Felipe Arias commented after the game, "We had a chance to go up on a breakaway that didn't pan out. Oklahoma Christian took advantage of their opportunities. Tonight turned out to be a game of missed chances."
The Dustdevils continue play on Saturday, September 24 with a matchup against Lubbock Christian. The game will be played in Lubbock, Texas and is set to begin at 1pm CST.
