Coaches Corner:
Head Coach
Jeff Caha commented after the game, "Once again we showed flashes of a good basketball team. We play solid defense, work the ball on offense, take and make good shots. The first quarters of the last four games have been incredibly solid. Then we hit spurts in the second quarter and we give up. Everyone wants to give the excuse "We have six, we are tired," but I refuse. It has been this way all year and by this point you as a player should know you are getting heavy minutes. Eventually you have to look at yourself and push through or realize you aren't cut out for this."
Up Next:
The Dustdevils are off for nearly a full week before their next contest. TAMIU will travel to San Antonio, Texas to take on St. Mary's University on Saturday, January 14. Tip-off is set for 1pm CST.
