NCAA Division II Regional Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 18, 2017) – The Texas A&M International University men's soccer team is fifth in NCAA Division II South Central Regional rankings announced on Wednesday. The Dustdevils are 6-4-2 overall with a mark of 5-4-1 in Heartland Conference play.
In the first regional rankings of 2017, nationally ranked Midwestern State and St. Edward's occupy the top two spots followed by Colorado Mesa and Colorado School of Mines of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. TAMIU is fifth, a spot short of qualifying for their first NCAA appearance in program history, while the Buffs of West Texas A&M are sixth.
The NCAA will release regional rankings the next two Wednesday afternoons followed by an online selection show scheduled to take place on Sunday, Nov. 6 to announce the field with four selections from the South Central Region.
The Dustdevils host Rogers State on Thursday, Oct. 19, with kickoff scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Live stats will be available at GoDustdevils.com.
