LAREDO, Texas (October 26, 2017) – Cio Bargallo scored her 17^th goal of the season as the Texas A&M International University women's soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision to St. Edward's on Thursday evening at Dustdevil Soccer Field. The Dustdevils fall to 3-11-2 and 2-10-1 in Heartland Conference play while St. Edward's improved to 10-3-4 (8-2-3 HC).
 
Bargallo's 17^th goal of the season moves her into fifth all-time in a single season in Heartland Conference history and improves on her own school record. The Dustdevils recorded nine shots on the night with Valeria Macias registering a match-high four shots. Elaine Salazar (0-3-0) made one save in her third start of the season for TAMIU.
 
The Hilltoppers went up 1-0 on a goal from corner in the 16^th minute before adding two more in the 29^th and 30^th minute. They added two more early in the second half to make it 5-0 before Bargallo scored her 11^th of conference play at 68:51 on a pass from Macias.
 
The Dustdevils will host Dallas Baptist on the final day of the regular season, Oct. 28,where Jaquelinn Moreno and Abigail Colmenares will be honored.
