Dustdevils head north to play Huston Tillotson

AUSTIN, Texas (February 27, 2018) - The Texas A&M International University Baseball team embarks on a five-game road trip on Wednesday. The Dustdevils will face Huston Tillotson at Down Field with first pitch slated for 1:00 p.m.

GAMEDAY WEATHER:
Wednesday's game will be played under partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the low to mid 70's. There is a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms throughout the afternoon. 

LAST SERIES FOR TAMIU:
The Dustdevils last series saw the Dustdevils pick up a pair of wins at Houston-Victoria. TAMIU used a 4-2 win in the first game and a 7-3 win in game two to move their overall record to 3-5. The wins gave TAMIU a 3-2 season series lead. 

SCOUTING THE RAMS:
The Rams sit at 3-7 this season with their last six games being rained out. The Rams last played on February 10 when they defeated Bethany (Kansas) 12-7. The Rams are hitting .259 this season posting an ERA of 9.61. 

Ajani Dowdy leads the team with a batting average of .361 this season. Dowdy has driven in four runs, picked up a pair of doubles, and legged out a triple. 

Ashton Cleveland holds down the mound for HTU with a 2-0 record. Cleveland has tossed 9.2 innings in five games this season and has yet to allow an earned run to cross the plate.
