DALLAS  – Texas A&M International volleyball continued their winning ways as they advanced to semifinals of the AVCA Division II Women's National Championship with a win over Ashland on Thursday.
In the quarterfinal matchup, the Dustdevils were dominant in a 3-0 sweep of Ashland. They took the first set by a score of 25-19. They continued to roll with a 25-17 decision in the second set. Ashland showed some fight in the third and final set, but TAMIU took the victory with a 25-22 decision.
It doesn't get any easier for the Dustdevils as they move on the face No. 17 Tampa in the semifinals on Friday at 1 p.m.
