LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International head women's basketball coach, Nate Vogel, announced the signing of Meli Hornedo to the 2022 recruiting class on Friday.

A native of San Antonio, Hornedo is set to join TAMIU in the fall after a standout career at Antonian College Preparatory High School.

Hornedo's list of accolades during her high school career include:

• Two Time District MVP for TAPPS (Freshman and Sophomore)
