LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International University head women's basketball coach,
Nate Vogel, announced the 2022-23 schedule on Friday.
The 2022-23 season will see the Lone Star Conference split in two division. Teams within TAMIU's division (East) include UAFS, Texas A&M-Kingsville, St. Edward's, St. Mary's, Oklahoma Christian, UT Tyler and Texas Woman's.
Two matchups will take place against division opponents, while a single game will be played against the West Division teams.
The division winners will be the top two seeds in the LSC Tournament, and the remaining six teams will be based off overall conference standings. The tournament has been trimmed from 12 teams to eight.
The Dustdevils open the season with a pair of non-conference road matchups against Black Hills State (Nov. 11) and Chadron State (Nov. 12).

TAMIU opens play on home court with a three-game non-conference stretch against Dallas Christian on Nov. 16 and Nov. 17, before ending with Adams State on Nov. 22.

Lone Star Conference play tips off Dec. 1 when the Dustdevils travel to Odessa, Texas to play UT Permian Basin and a meeting with Angelo State follows on Dec. 3.
LSC play inside the KCB begins Dec. 8 against Lubbock Christian, followed by a visit from defending regular season and tournament champion West Texas A&M on Dec. 10.
Three games on the road separate TAMIU from the Christmas break, as a trip to Puerto Rico awaits to face UPR Bayamon and UPR Mayaguez on Dec. 14 and Dec. 15. The stretch concludes in West Palm Beach, Fla. against Palm Beach Atlantic (Dec. 19).

After the holiday break, its LSC play the remainder of the season beginning with road games on Dec. 30 versus St. Edward's and a New Year's Day tilt against St. Mary's.

The remaining home LSC campaign begins after the New Year for the Dustdevils, including visits from Oklahoma Christian (Jan. 5), UAFS (Jan. 7), UT Tyler (Jan. 12), Texas Woman's (Jan. 14), Texas A&M-Kingsville (Jan. 24), St. Mary's (Jan. 26), St. Edward's (Jan. 28), Cameron (Feb. 16) and Midwestern State (Feb. 18).
The remaining road schedule in conference play includes trips to Eastern New Mexico (Jan. 19), Western New Mexico (Jan. 21), UAFS (Feb. 2), Oklahoma Christian (Feb. 4), Texas Woman's (Feb. 9), UT Tyler (Feb. 11) and Texas A&M-Kingsville (Feb. 23)
The Lone Star Conference Tournament will take place at a site and date yet to be determined.
