Laredo, Texas – Texas A&M International volleyball won its third straight match on Saturday at home defeating DBU 3-1 (25-20, 16-25, 25-23, 25-14).
The Dustdevils (13-6, 4-2 LSC) finished with 58 kills as a team with a .268 hitting percentage. The Patriots (13-6, 6-2 LSC) totaled 47 kills and a .226 hitting percentage.
Anna Ligart led TAMIU in kills with 19, Ariana Guerra added 13 and Hannah Thompson totaled 10. Ligart also served a team-high three aces. The Dustdevils finished with six aces as a team.
Jasmin Garcia stuffed four kills at the net to lead the team, Emma Lade dished out 45 assists and Giulia Hortelan finished with 19 digs.
TAMIU will be in action next at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 20 at Eastern New Mexico (8-14, 0-9 LSC).
