Laredo, Texas – Texas A&M International volleyball fell to Angelo State 3-0 (25-22, 25-12, 25-22) on Saturday afternoon at home.
The Rambelles (20-4, 10-2 LSC) finished with 36 kills and 14 errors on 117 chances to finish with a .188 hitting percentage. The Dustdevils (15-9, 6-5 LSC) totaled 32 kills and 21 errors on 131 attacks to finish with a .084 hitting percentage.
TAMIU totaled five aces, four blocks, 30 assists and 58 digs compared to Angelo State who recorded seven aces, six blocks, 35 assists and 64 digs.
Ariana Guerra led the Dustdevils with 13 kills, Presley Vaitai totaled five and Hannah Thompson added four.
Rebecca Pena served a team-high two aces and Thompson and Jasmin Garcia recorded two blocks each.
Emma Lade dished out a team-high 26 assists and Giulia Hortelan finished with 18 digs.
TAMIU will be in action next at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 3 at Texas Womean's (16-7, 8-4 LSC).
