Malea Jackson earned the Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Week for November 20-26 on Tuesday after leading the Dustdevils to a 2-0 start week and a 7-0 start.
Jackson helped the Dustdevils in a 2-0 week, holding Central Oklahoma and Southeastern Oklahoma to a combined 43.7 percent field goal shooting. Jackson had eight points, six rebounds and five steals in the 99-72 win over Central Oklahoma. Jackson came back the next day with a steal, three rebounds and 14 points in the 86-65 win vs. Southeastern Oklahoma as the Dustdevils remained unbeaten for the season (7-0).

This marks the second Defensive Player of the Week for the Dustdevils this season.
