Dustdevils Show Resilience Against Javelinas

Kingsville, TX - In an exciting Lone Star conference showdown, the Texas A&M International Dustdevils displayed their unwavering spirit on the court, even though they faced a formidable opponent in the Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas. The Steinke Center was buzzing with 221 passionate fans who witnessed an impressive display of determination from the Dustdevils.
 
Set 1: The first set showcased the Dustdevils' grit as they fought hard against the Javelinas, ultimately falling 25-17. Although the Javelinas secured the set, the Dustdevils displayed flashes of brilliance that kept the crowd engaged.
 
Set 2: The second set saw the Dustdevils elevate their game, despite the Javelinas securing a 25-22 victory. Their determination and improved performance showed they were not to be underestimated.
 
Set 3: The Dustdevils continued to battle valiantly in the third set, even though it ended in a 25-16 victory for the Javelinas. Despite the final score, the Dustdevils left the court with their heads held high.

Giulia Hortelan led the Dustdevils' charge with 6 kills, demonstrating her offensive prowess. Emma Lade's exceptional setting skills were on full display, contributing 26 assists and 4 digs in the match.

Ariana Guerra displayed her attacking ability with 6 kills and Mia Molina added 4 kills of her own.
 
Throughout the match, the Dustdevils demonstrated their resilience and determination to improve. They racked up a total of 31 kills, showcasing their offensive capabilities, and also displayed solid teamwork with 29 assists. Defensively, they tallied 33 digs, illustrating their commitment to improving their play.
 
While the Javelinas secured the win, the Dustdevils' performance indicated that they are a team with tremendous potential. 
 
Although the Dustdevils fell to 0-2 in Lone Star conference play, they left the court with valuable experience and a determination to keep improving.
