Laredo, Texas – The Dustdevils took on the Midwestern State Mustangs in a Lone Star Conference matchup at home on Saturday.
Both offenses were held scoreless in the opening half. Midwestern State had eight shots in the first half, four of those on target. All four shots were stopped by TAMIU's
Claramalia Pedersen. The Dustdevils had six shots in the first half with one on target.
The Mustangs opened the scoring in the 57
th minute with a penalty kick goal from Lexi Beck.
Krysan St. Louis had the answer for the Dustdevils in the 78
th minute to tie the game at one.
Pedersen tallied two more saves in the second half to bring her total for the game to six.
The Dustdevils play their final home game of the season on October 29
th against St. Mary's. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
