Richardson, Texas – Junior Omar Cervantes earned the Lone Star Conference Hitter of the Week for April 18 - April 21 on Monday after leading the Dustdevils to a 4-0 series sweep of Texas A&M Kingsville.

Cervantes went 9-for-17 with two home runs, a double and seven RBIs to fuel Texas A&M International's conference series road sweep of Texas A&M-Kingsville. Cervantes, who struck out just once, also scored seven runs and walked twice. He had at least two hits in each game. One of his homers was a three-run shot in the first inning of the series finale to set the tone for the sweep.
