Dustdevils Draw 0-0 Against Delta State

Clinton, Miss – Despite six shots on goal for either squad, the Dustdevils and Lady Statesmen finished the day in a scoreless draw.

Milynda Lozano recorded TAMIU's first shot in the fourth minute with a try to the bottom right corner.

Gabriela Mendez-Ortiz recorded two shots in the 12th and 17th minutes that kept the Dustdevils on the attack in the opening minutes of the match.

TAMIU's final shot of the first half came from Sammy Hecht. The Dustdevils outshot the Lady Statesmen 4-3 in the first half.

The Dustdevils recorded eight shots in the second half, with efforts from Candela Gonzalez, Krysan St. Louis, Apryl Alvarez, Janize Castillo, Mendez-Ortiz and Lozano.

The Lady Statesmen recorded 10 shots in the match, six of which were on goal and saved by Claramalia Pederson.

The Dustdevils continue their season September 20th in Seguin, Texas, against Texas Lutheran University. Kickoff for the match is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
