Denton, Texas – Texas A&M International volleyball fell in straight sets to Texas Woman's (13–25, 17–25, 18–25) Tuesday evening at Kitty Magee Arena.
Freshman
Sierra Sanchez once again led the Dustdevils' attack, finishing with a team-high 10 kills to go along with 15 digs and one service ace.
Mia Molina followed with seven kills and 11 digs, while
Danea King added six kills and two blocks. Setters
Dilean Bounds and
Natalia Cisneros combined for 20 assists and 15 digs.
Defensively, TAMIU posted 62 total digs, highlighted by Sanchez, Molina, and
Samantha Estrada, who contributed 10 digs and an ace.
TAMIU (4–17, 2–10 LSC) continues its season on the road against Texas A&M–Kingsville on Saturday. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
