Box Score Lubbock, Texas- The Texas A&M International Softball team took on the #22 ranked softball team in D2 in Lubbock Chirstian University. The Dustdevils entered the evening 12-7 overall and 5-2 in the Lone Star Conference. LCU entered the evening 13-5 overall and 4-4 in Lone Star Conference action.

The first game was all Lubbock Christian as they would end up run ruling the Dustdevils 10-0 in five innings of play. The Dustdevils recorded two hits in total by
Kennedy Griego and
Jenna Fabela.
Kylie Goad and
Tessa Ramirez would step into the circle the first game.
Kylie Goad would take the loss, making her 3-3 on the season.
The second game, the Dustdevils bounced back after the tough loss and almost snuck past the Chaps. However, the Chaps ended up winning the second game off of a walk off hit in the bottom of the eighth inning. The Chaps would sweep the Dustdevils after winning the second game 5-4. The Dustdevils recorded nine hits and four runs in the second game.
Victoria Gonzalez,
Queenandra Dunn and
Isabella Perez would all homer in the second game. Dunn led the team with two RBI's, Gonzalez had one RBI on the evening and Perez would also have one RBI.
Zakayia Fredrick,
Tessa Ramirez, Neveah Herrera would all be in the circle for the Dustdevils in the second game. Ramirez would take the loss making her 2-1 on the season inside the circle.

The Dustdevils will play #4 Angelo State at 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM CDT on Sunday.
