Boca Raton, FL – The Dustdevils (0-0-1) opened the 2025 season in Florida for a matchup against the Lynn University Fighting Knights (0-0-1). The game ended in a 0-0 draw after inclement weather brought an early end in the 72^nd minute.

TAMIU's first chance came in the 19^th minute as Vera Funk put up a shot that was saved by Knights' goalie Ema Brunelli.

Rosa Caird, Camila Razcon and Loren Perez Barrera all recorded shots on goal in the second half that were ultimately saved by Brunelli.

Dustdevil goalie Maria Melendez saved the lone Lynn shot on goal that left the game in a scoreless draw.

The Dustdevils continue the Florida road trip with a game on Saturday, September 6, against Nova Southeastern University. Kickoff is scheduled for 10 a.m. CT.
