Dustdevils Fall 2-0 to Sharks

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – The Dustdevils (0-1-1) took on the Nova Southeastern Sharks (2-0-0) in Florida on Saturday. The Sharks scored once in the first and once in the second to win the game 2-0.

The Sharks scored their first goal in the seventh minute to take a 1-0 lead. They scored the second goal in the 53rd minute to extend the lead to two.

TAMIU goalie Latae Rodriguez recorded four saves in the second half to keep the Sharks at bay.

Vera Funk had three shots on the day for TAMIU.

The Dustdevils return home Wednesday, September 10, for a game against Texas Lutheran University. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
