2016:
Pollorena, a Freshman on the field led the team with a .374 average in his first season with the Dustdevils. Pollorena launched six (6) longballs, driving in 25 runs on 49 hits. His first season was capped off with a Second Team All-Heartland Conference nomination.

2015:
Did not compete.

High School: United High School (Class of 2013)
Pollorena played Third Base for the Longhorns, lettering for (4) years. He was named to First Team All-District (3) times. Pollorena earned All-State honors in 2013. Sergio also lettered in Basketball for (1) year.
 
Personal:
Sergio is the son of Maria and Oscar. He has two brothers, Oscar and Luis. Sergio chose TAMIU because of the coaches, professors, teammates, and proximity to home. His role model is his Dad. After TAMIU Sergio hopes to leave his mark, get married, and begin a family. In his spare time Sergio enjoys sleeping.
