2018:
Aguilar was the only Dustdevil to start in all 49 games in 2018 where he hit .248 with nine doubles driving in 17 runs for a slugging percentage of .306 while registering 16 walks and three stolen bases for a .337 on-base percentage. Recorded nine multi-hit games including a 3 for 3 performance against Houston-Victoria. He had a solid season in the field as he recorded 41 putouts, 109 assists and four errors for a .974 fielding percentage. 

2015-16:
Aguilar made his Dustdevil debut in 2016. Abel played in 37 games, starting 32. Aguilar drove in 11 runs on 22 hits.

High School: United High School (Class of 2015)
At United, Aguilar lettered in Baseball for (3) years as a second and third baseman. During these seasons, he earned All-District and All-City honors.
 
Club Baseball: E-Train
Aguilar played for Team E-Train in San Marcos, Texas for (2) seasons.

Personal:
Aguilar is the son of Amira and Alejandro. He is a brother to Andrew and Ashley. Aguilar chose to attend TAMIU because of the opportunity for a great education and the ability to compete within a strong conference. His most inspirational figure is his Father. His future aspirations are to become a physical therapist. In his spare time, he likes to give back to the community and enjoy time with his family and friends.
