2018:
Phipps appeared in 31 games with 25 starts for the Dustdevils in 2018 where he went 12 for 78 from the plate with a double and a RBI. Had his best game of the season on March 10 against Lubbock Christian going 3 for 4 from the plate while scoring a run. He also went 2 for 4 against St. Edward’s on May 6.

High School:
Phipps played baseball at Laguna Creek High School, Elk Grove CA. He was awarded all academic, first team all league, team captain.

Personal: Phipps is the son to James. He is the brother to Kayla, Chelsey, Danielle, Ashley, and James. Phipps chose TAMIU because of great opportunities and education. His father is his inspirational figure. Post TAMIU, he would like to become a police or attend the fire fighter academy.  On his free time, he likes to play baseball.
