2015-16:
Alston finished his Dustdevil career playing in all 29 games for TAMIU. Alston racked up 394 points over 949 minutes. Alston led the team with 53 steals and shot 81% from the free-throw line. Alston earned a spot on the Heartland Conference Commissioners Honor Roll in the Fall.


2014-15:
Played 28 games for TAMIU, averaging 29 minutes per game, and 9.9 points per game. Reached a FG percentage of .431%, 3FG percentage of .293%, and FT percentage of .760%. Averaged 2.6 rebounds per game, 3.9 assists per game, 2.3 turnovers per game, 1.7 steals per game, and 0.1 blocks per game.

2014-12: Arizona Western College
Alston started his collegiate athletic career playing from 2012-2014 for Arizona Western College. At AWC, Alston earned the honors of All-American, All-League and First Team All-Conference. He received an Associate of Arts during his two years at Arizona Western.

High School: Rancho Buena Vista
At Rancho Buena Vista, Alston lettered in Basketball for 2 years, earning the honors of First Team All-CIF, Team MVP, First Team All-Acocado West, First Team All-Worth County, and Athlete of the Month. Alston set a CIF Record for free throws made in a season with 286. He averaged 26.0 PPG. Also during his time at Rancho Buena Vista, Alston lettered in Track for 3 years.

Alston was a member of GamePoint Basketball, which is located in San Diego, California. He played for GamePoint for a total of 8 years.

Personal:
Anthony is the son of Sonya and Mike Alston. He has 2 siblings, Mike and Marques Alston. He is a transfer student from Arizona Western College. He was on the Dean's List freshman and sophomore year. His hobby is listening to music. An interesting fact about Anthony is that he has 9 national medals for track. He chose TAMIU because he liked the enviornment/support and felt comfortable with the coaching staff and previous success.
