th at the Heartland Conference Championships covering the 6,000-meters in a time of 26:01.4. She ran a personal best time of 22:20.1 over 5,000-meters at the Islander Splash where she finished 15

th Annual Roadrunner Invitational hosted by Metro State at Washington Park in Denver, Colo. She finished 117
th at the Rice Invitational finishing the 4,163-meter course in 20:09.0.

Ozuna ran cross country for (4) years and track for (3) years in which she served as Team Captain. She earned her trip to the Regional Qualifiers after clinching, along with her team, the District Championship Title.
Personal: Daniela Ozuna is the daughter of Laura Perales and Ozuna and is joined by her sisters Viviana and Nathalie. Ozuna chose TAMIU because it was not far from home. Her most inspirational figure is her mother. Her future inspirations is to become a Rn and to excell in running. Ozuna's favorite athlete is Allyson Felix, a track and field sprint athlete who competes in the 100m, 200m, and 400m sprints. In her spare time, she enjoys working out and running.
