2017:
Schott had an impressive freshman campaign for the Dustdevils playing in both the midfielder and as a center back. She started in 15 matches logging 1,341 minutes recording one assist and four shots. She recorded her first assist in her first career game at TAMIU as the Dustdevils defeated Delta State on Aug. 31. She recorded a season-high two shots against Midwestern State on Sept. 10. 

High School: Northwest High School
Earned 2^nd Team Academic All-State honors during her high school career at Northwest High School. She was also named the Defensive Player of the Year en route to earned 1^st Team All-District Honors. Schott was twice named to the all-district utility player team.
 
Personal:
Tayler is the daughter of Jeffrey and Carla Schott and Edith Schott and has four siblings, Brittany, Zachary Doolittle, Kasey and Colton. She chose to come to TAMIU because she received a scholarship to play the game she loves and likes the opportunities to study abroad that are offered. Her grandmother, Karen Codner, is her inspirational figure. After graduation she plans on becoming a geneticist. She enjoys spending time at church, watching movie marathons and hanging out with friends.
