2016:
Smith placed in the Top 10 (9th) at the Victoria Fall Classic and the Texas A&M - Commerce Tribute at the Colony.

2014,2015
Smith joined the Dustdevils as a Freshman.

Zimbabwe National Junior Team: 
Travis was a member of the Zimbabwe National Junior Team. He won the Trinations Tournament (3) times (2012,2013,2014). He was the #2 ranked Junior in Africa. He was the Club Champion in 2012, tying the scoring record of 63. Overall, Smith is a 15 time winner on the Zimbabwe Junior Tour.

High School: St. John's High School (Class of 2013)
Travis lettered in golf for (4) years and rugby for (2) years. He was the Team Captain for (2) years. Smith was named St. John's Golfer of the Year for (3) years.

Personal:
Travis is the son of Paul Norman Smith and Kathleen Anne Smith.  He has two brothers, Warick Karl-Lawrence Smith and Ryan John Smith. Travis chose TAMIU for the golf program and the opportunity to grow. His role model is Miguel Angel Jimenez. After TAMIU Travis wants to graduate with a major in Business Administration and to turn Pro and have a career on the European/Sunshine tour. In his spare time he enjoys hunting and fishing.
