2019-20:
In a shortened season this year, Holekamp racked up five Top 10 finishes in seven tournaments, including four Top 5 finishes. His best performance of the year came in October at the Jerry Hrnciar Invitational in Duncan, Okla. After two rounds, he finished in a five-way tie for second place with a 142 (-2), and was just one stroke off the lead after he shot back-to-back rounds of 71.Â
As he has done through out his career for the Dustdevils, Holekamp continued to break new ground, becoming the first men's golfer to be named an All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America, as well as being named the first All-Region selection.
A two-time U.S. Amateur participant, Holekamp was named the 2019 South Texas PGA Amateur of the Year in November.
2018-19:
Holekamp has competed in the U.S. Amateur back to back, in this season he finished at 119
th.Holekamp got First team All-Conference for the Heartland Conference At the Arbor Hotels Classic Holekamp got a 82 in the first round he came back in the second round and shoot a 73 second round, which moved him 15 spots giving him the 36
th place. Holekamp led the Dustdevils in Midwestern State Invitational where Holekamp tied in a four-way for 7
th place with a 10-over-223 performance. Holekamp tied for 3
rd in a three way at the OLLU Classic with a 8-over-221. Holekamp carded a 212 for the tournament, which led to him winning the tournament. competing in the Border Olympics, Holekamp finished in a 3 way tie for the 50
th place out of 96 Division 1 golfers carding a 6-over-222 for the tournament. Holekamp lead the Dustdevils at the Hillcat Spring Invitational he finished in a 3 way-tie for first carding a 2-over-215. At the Heartland Conference Championships Holekamp finished in a three-way tie for 19
th place after turning in a card of 3-over-219.
2017-18:
Holekamp made history as he became the first individual from TAMIU to play in the NCAA Division I Border Olympics at the Laredo Country Club. He finished for a tie for 92

HIGH SCHOOL:
Holekamp graduated from Kingwood High School and played golf all four years of high school. He was the 2015 District Champion, and was named Most Valuable Player as well as Co-Team Captain.
PERSONAL:
Holekamp is the son of Julie and Gordon Holekamp, and has one sister. He earned his bachelor's degree finance and is working toward his master's of business administration with a concentration in international banking and finance.
