Biography

2016:
Salinas will compete as a Junior for the Dustdevils.

2015:
In his Sophomore season Salinas finished in the Top 25 at the SWTJC Inviational, placing 20th with a time of 18:42. Salinas finished 14th at the TAMIU Invitational with a time of 20:40.

2014:
Rolando's Freshman season was highlighted with a Top 50 finish at the Corpus Christi Islander Splash, Salinas finished 44th. Salinas broke the Top 75 at the UTSA Invitational, placing 60th for the Dustdevils. In his first collegiate season Salinas competed in the Heartland Conference Championships, finishing 63rd.

High School: Eagle Pass High School (Class of 2014)
Rolando lettered in cross country and track for (1) year. He was named an All-District Runner.

Personal:
Rolando is the son of Jacqueline and Antonio. He has two siblings, Ramseys and Anthony. Salinas chose TAMIU for the opportunities it offered. His inspiration comes from Kanye West. After TAMIU Salinas wants to become a Teacher and a Coach. In his spare time Rolando enjoys listening to music.
