High School: 
Krysta attended Eagle Pass High School in Eagle Pass, Texas, graduating in 2025, where she was a standout multi-sport athlete in both softball and cross country. Under the guidance of head coaches Oscar Ruiz and Mario Garcia, Ruiz developed into one of the area’s top infielders, earning Honorable Mention honors in 2022 before being named Second Team All-District at second base in 2023. She elevated her play to First Team All-District in 2024 and capped her high school career by being named Most Valuable Player in 2025. In the classroom, Ruiz matched her athletic success as a member of the National Honor Society.
