A LOOK AT THE ALL-TIME SERIES
Saturday's match will mark the 20th time the two schools have played each other with TAMIU holding a 12-4-3 advantage. The Dustdevils are 6-2-1 in Laredo against the Jets including four of the last five.

A LOOK AT THE JETS
Entering his 30th season in 2017, Cliff Brown (277-281-38) had led the Jets to three consecutive conference tournaments with the teams reaching double-digit wins all three years. Brown has righted the ship for NU after a slow start as the Jets have earned nine points over their past seven matches including a 1-1 draw at No. 11 St. Edward's.

Jamie Barkway has led the Jet attack scoring six of their 14 goals this season while adding one assist for a team-high 13 points. Tommy Fiszel leads the team in assists with three as he scored his second of the season in a 3-1 loss to St. Mary's on Thursday. Carlos Rubio Garcia and Ed Jabbari rank second on the team in assists (2) and points (4).

The Jets start a freshman in goal as Chase Bowman has played in every match registering 1,450 minutes in goal. The Wichita, Kan. native has only allowed 15 goals while recording six shutouts with four of those coming in the last five matches.

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
With two assists on Thursday, Alan Rivera ranks seventh in the conference in total points (16) and goals (7). Rafael Montabes continues to lead the conference in shots per game (3.75) ahead of Brandon Lee of UTPB and Nenad Markovic of StMU.

Carlos Herrera ranks second in the conference in goals against average (.572) and save percentage (.864) behind Richard Gross of Midwestern State.

TAMIU's six conference wins are the most since going 7-1-1 en route to winning their third regular season title in 2011.

IT'S A 'CEM' IT TOOK SO LONG
It only took Cem Izgec three appearances to register his first assist in a TAMIU uniform as the Speyer, Germany native found R. Zuniga wide open in front of the net with just over 10 minutes left in their 3-0 victory. He has played an important role in the midfield after making his first appearance for the Dustdevils on Oct. 12 against Lubbock Christian.

ZUNIGA SHINES IN WIN AGAINST HILLCATS
Entering Thursday's match against RSU, R. Zuniga had six shots during his first eight appearances of 2017. The Laredo, Texas product then proceeded to single handily destroy the Hillcats scoring three second half goals after RSU went down to 10 men. He had a career-high seven shots, five of those on-target, during his 48 minutes on the pitch.

125 WINS FOR ARIAS
The Dustdevils' 3-0 victory over RSU not only kept them in fourth place in the conference standings but it also marked the 125th time Claudio Arias was victorious as the men's head coach at TAMIU. During his 14 seasons at the helm of one of the top men's programs in the south central region, Arias has led TAMIU to 10-plus wins in six season including a program best 14 wins in 2004. He has won three Heartland Conference Regular Season Champions while leading the Dustdevils to their first national ranking back in 2011.
