LANCASTER, Calif. (December 30, 2017) – Senior
Dan Milota scored a career-high 29 points as the Texas A&M International University men's basketball team finished the 2017 non-conference portion of its schedule with an 86-56 win over West Coast Baptist College on Friday night. The Dustdevils (7-7) outshot the Eagles (3-12) 50.8% to 37% from the field picking up their first road win of the season.
Milota was one of three Dustdevils in double figures as he dominated the post going 10-of-16 from the field and 8-of-11 from the free-throw line. He also pulled down a career-high eight rebounds.
Xabier Gomez had an efficient evening scoring 14 points on 4-of-5 shooting while going 5-of-6 from the charity stripe. Kamaria Robinson chipped in 13 points off the bench while pulling down seven rebounds.
The Dustdevils will play Long Beach State tonight, Dec. 30, at 4 p.m. (Pacific) in an exhibition before returning to Heartland Conference play at Lubbock Christian on Thursday, Jan. 4.

Milota's previous career-high was 17 against Randall earlier this season at the River City Classic in San Antonio. His 29 points are the most scored by a Dustdevil since
Anthony Alston scored 34 against St. Mary's on Feb. 28, 2016. He also set a career-high in made field goals, field goal attempts, made free throws, free throw attempts and rebounds.
Kamari Robinson
Robinson continues to be the spark off the bench reaching double figures for the eighth time this season. His 13-point, seven rebound effort marks the fifth time he has pulled down seven or more rebounds while scoring 10 or more points this season.
