Cio Bargallo and the Texas A&M International University women's soccer team return to the friendly confines of the Dustdevil Soccer Field for a Thursday night, Sept. 21, match against Oklahoma Christian. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. with the first 50 fans receiving a TAMIU scarf.

The Dustdevils (1-4-1, 0-3-0) return home in search of regaining their offensive form that helped them score 10 goals in the first four matches of the season. Bargallo continues to lead the nation in goals scored with seven and will look to get back on the score sheet this week. Thursday's match will be OC's (1-5-0, 0-3-0) first match outside of the state of Oklahoma for an Eagles team in the midst of a five-match losing streak. They have dropped five straight including three straight in conference play since defeating East Central 1-0 on Aug. 31.

A LOOK AT THE ALL-TIME SERIES
Thursday's match will be the seventh career meeting between the two schools with the Dustdevils leading the all-time series 5-1-1. TAMI is 3-0-1 at home against OC outscoring the Eagles 8-2 in the process.

A LOOK AT THE EAGLES
Meagan Anderson (1-5-0) enters her first season in charge for the Eagles looking to rebuild a program that has not had a winning season since 2009. OC opened the season on a high note with a 1-0 victory over East Central at home but has dropped their last five matches.

The Eagles enter Thursday's match not having scored a goal in more than 190 minutes including back-to-back shutouts last week. As a team, OC has generated a conference low 48 shots and four goals while allowing 19 goals on 147 shots.

Four different Eagles have scored goal this season while freshman Brianna Concienne leads the team with three assists. The freshman from Flower Mound has had an impressive start to her career registering three points (1 goal, 1 assist) in her second collegiate game in a 3-2 loss to Southern Nazarene. She also ranks first on the team in points (5) and shots (11). Sophomore Dakota Milner has paired well with Concienne up front as the sophomore ranks second on the team in shots (10) a year after earning 3
rd team All-Heartland Conference honors.

Courtney Nixon and Kylee Ingalls are the top scoring midfielders for OC with one goal a piece in 2017. Nixon bagged the game-winner in the season-opening 1-0 win over ECU while playing more than 80 minutes in three matches so far this season. Ingalls scored the lone goal for the Eagles in a 5-1 loss to East Central after scoring three goals as a freshman in 2016.

Senior Chelsea Key anchors the backline having played in all 90 minutes during five of OC's six matches so far this season. She has now started in more than 50 matches for the Eagles during her career. Joining Key on defense is Lexi Lane, who has registered 446 through six matches.

Addison Milner, the twin sister of forward Dakota, has assumed the starting role in goal for OC after appearing in two matches a freshman in 2016. The Corinth native has 45 saves on the season including career-high 10 against Lubbock Christian and Dallas Baptist. She also has one shutout to go with her 3.14 goals against average and .703 save percentage.

BARGALLO RANKS THIRD NATIONALLY IN GOALS SCORED
Cio Bargallo's seven goals rank her third in the nation behind the nine from Missouri Western State's Cassidy Menke and Assumption's Kallie Villemaire. The sophomore forward was in fine form at the start of the season scoring seven goals in the first three matches including a school record four in the season opener against Delta State in Dallas.

COHEN LEADING THE WAY IN CONFERENCE PLAY
Nicole Cohen has started in all three conference matches for the Dustdevils in 2017 and has been one of the top performers on the offensive side of the ball. The El Paso native is one of three TAMIU players to have scored a goal in conference play while she has contributed a team-high seven shots and four shots on goal. She recorded a career-high three shots at Newman last week where she came within inches of scoring the game-winner late in the second half.

HEARTLAND IN THE RANKINGS
St. Edward's dropped one spot to sixth in the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women's Soccer National Poll released on Tuesday afternoon. The Hilltoppers also dropped one spot to 11
th in the Massey Ratings while Dallas Baptist moved up 16 spots to 26
th.

TAMIU will return to the pitch on Saturday, Sept. 23, with a match against Lubbock Christian. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. at Dustdevil Soccer Field. The first 50 fans will receive a TAMIU scarf.
