A LOOK AT THE ALL-TIME SERIES
Saturday's match will be the 24th all-time meeting with SEU holding a 22-1-0 advantage. The Dustdevils last defeated Hilttopers 2-1 on Oct. 29, 2015 in Austin as SEU was ranked 22nd in the nation.

A LOOK AT THE HILLTOPPERS
Nick Cowell (181-34-19) is in his 12th season in charge of the women's soccer program at SEU where he has turned the Hilttoppers into one of the top programs in the Heartland Conference. He is the all-time winningest coach in school history and ranks 17th all-time in total wins across all division of NCAA. Cowell was named the conference coach of the year in 2016 as he led SEU to their eighth regular-season title, going undefeated in the conference at 13-0-1.

The Hilltoppers are led by their defense as they rank second nationally in goal-against average, shutout percentage and save percentage. Individually, Ocoee Wilson ranks third in goals-against average and save percentage while also ranking seventh in goalie minutes played. Wilson has been a breakout star in goal for SEU as the Steamboat Springs, Colo. product appeared in only two matches in 2016 as a freshman.

Viktoria Malmros is the leading goal scorer for the Hilttoppers as the senior has netted three goals while adding two more assists for a total of eight points. India Wentz is the only other SEU player to have registered two or more goals as seven others have one registered atleast one goal. Jenna Lipscomb leads the team in assists with four as she finished sixth last year as a freshman en route to earning D2CCA All-Region honors.

BARGALLO BREAKS ANOTHER RECORD
Bargallo broke her second school record in five days during the Dustdevils match against DBU on Thursday night. She finished the match with six shots bringing her career total to 108 breaking Sol Medina's previous record of 105. They are the only two players in program history to have recorded 100 or more shots in a career.

UNDERCLASSMEN LEAD THE WAY
Freshman Tayler Schott and Sophomore Susanna Abrahamsson have played a team-high 824 minutes for the Dustdevils so far in 2017. Abrahamsson has played in all but 37 minutes during her two-year career as a center back from TAMIU. Schott has played in both the midfield and defense during her first season in Laredo making an immediate impact including an assist during their season opening win over Delta State. Fellow freshman Tamara Cafuta ranks third in minutes on the team with 824.

SALAZAR MAKES HER FIRST START FOR TAMIU
Junior Elaine Salazar made her first career start in goal for TAMIU on Thursday night after only making one appearance in the previous eight matches. The Brownsville, Texas got the nod against the second place Patriots and had an impressive performance making two saves on 13 shots faced.

LOOKING TO BREAK THE STREAK
The Dustdevils have struggled to find the back of the net on the road as they are in the midst of a 625 minute 14 second scoreless streak. TAMIU last tallied an away goal on a strike from Bargallo at 16:45 in the first half against Newman on Oct. 22, 2016.

HEARTLAND IN THE RANKINGS
St. Edward's continued its rise in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women's National Poll moving up two spots to fourth in the latest rankings released on Tuesday afternoon. The Hilltoppers also moved up to fifth in the Massey Ratings while DBU fell five spots to 30th.
