Eleazar Rojas got the opening day nod in the first of two games on Saturday for the Dustdevils. Seven innings would not decide the ballgame as an eighth inning allowed Cameron to take a 3-1 lead.

Highlights:
Rojas K's 10 in loss:
The Senior Dustdevil opened the 2018 season for TAMIU. Despite a first inning run, Rojas kept the Aggie bats in check. CU tallied four hits against Rojas for just one run which was unearned. After three first inning walks, Rojas rung up 10 Aggies.

Ramirez goes 3 for 3: Mario Ramirez opened the 2018 campaign with a hot start at the plate. The Junior went 3-3 for the Dustdevils while picking up the lone RBI for TAMIU.

Six Dustdevils pick up a hit: Six of TAMIU's nine starters tallied a hit in the loss. Ramirez led the way as the only Dustdevil to pick up multiple hits while TAMIU tallied nine total.

Trimble's Debut: Mark Trimble made his pitching debut for the Dustdevils in an inning of relief. Trimble relieved Rojas in the extra frame where two runs scored on two hits.

GAME 2: TAMIU 4 - CAMERON 5
