FORT SMITH, Ark. – Texas A&M International men's and women's golf completed play at the Hardscrabble Invitational on Tuesday.
After three rounds at the Par 70, 6,783-yard Hardscrabble Country Club, the Dustdevil men finished fourth with a 22-over-862 performance.
Santiago Garcia led TAMIU in a four-way tie for fourth place, turning in a 2-over-212 card for the tournament. Yannik Alexander finished in ninth, shooting a 4-over-214. Justin Kim finished in a tie for 15th with a 7-over-217. Parker Holekamp finished in a tie for 19th with a 9-over-219 performance. Jacob Serna rounded out the squad in 38th carding a 22-over-232.
In the women's tournament, TAMIU finished in eighth place after three rounds at the Par 70, 6,005-yard course.
Debora Orieta led the squad in a five-way tie for 17th turning in a card of 24-over-234. Natchawan Serisamran finished in 34th after a 41-over-251 tournament. Daniela Mendez finished in tie for 36th with a 43-over-253 performance. Stephanie Gonzalez rounded out the squad in a tie for 41st, carding a 49-over-259.
The Dustdevils will be back in action on April 14 as they travel to Horseshoe Bay, Texas to complete in the Heartland Conference Tournament.
