LAREDO, Texas – After a 12-win season and berth in the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Tournament, Texas A&M International University men's soccer released its conference schedule for the 2021 Spring season.
With the postponement of the fall season due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, TAMIU will play a shortened seven-game Lone Star Conference schedule.
After what will be a 14-month layoff, the Dustdevils kickoff the season hosting St. Mary's on Feb. 16.
A two-game road trip follows as TAMIU travels to face Dallas Baptist (Feb. 23) and UT Tyler (Mar. 2).
The Dustdevils will return home for a rematch with DBU on Mar. 9 before another two-game road trip with trips to San Antonio, Texas on Mar. 16, to face St. Mary's in a rematch of the opening season kickoff and to Wichita Falls, Texas to meet national power Midwestern State on Mar. 23.
Senior Day concludes the conference schedule for the Dustdevils as they take on UT Permian Basin on Mar. 30.
TAMIU will host three of the seven conference games, all slated to kickoff at 7 p.m. CST.
The Lone Star Conference Tournament is slated to begin on Apr. 3, with the final taking place on Apr. 13.
With the safety of the TAMIU and Laredo community in mind, as well as travelling family and friends, TAMIU Athletics will not be having fans in attendance until further notice. All home contests will be streamed live on the
Lone Star Conference Digital Network. All streams will be available pay-per-view, with pricing details being announced at a later date.
