KINGSVILLE, Texas – Texas A&M International volleyball squared off against Texas A&M-Kingsville in Lone Star Conference play, with the Javelinas (8-0, 3-0 LSC) topping the Dustdevils (1-9, 1-2 LSC) 3-0.

The Dustdevils fell behind quickly in set one, falling 25-11 and then fell in set two 25-17.

In set three, TAMIU jumped ahead 16-11, before the Texas A&M-Kingsville went on a 6-1 run to tie the set 17-17. The Dustdevils jumped ahead by two at three other points after, but the Javelinas would tie the game. Ultimately the teams alternated points until the set was taken by Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Mackenzie Catalina followed with 10 kills on 37 attacks.
