2021 (Fall):
Gomez played in 44 sets in 16 matches and finished the season with one kill, 125 digs, 9 service aces and 14 assists. 

2021 (Spring):
Gomez played in 22 sets over eight matches with eight kills, 53 digs, two service aces, and four assists. 

Prior to TAMIU:
Gomez spent two years playing at Laredo College. At LC, she help lead her team to a second place finish in the NJCAA South Conference in 2018 and was awarded the Palomino Award in 2019. She was also a two-time NJCAA Academic All-American and was a member of the Laredo College President's and Dean's List.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Gomez graduated from PSJA Memorial Early College High School and played under Coach Angie Gonzalez. At PSJA, she led her team to a 2017-18 District 31-6A Championship and was named District 31-6A Outstanding Setter of the Year.  Gomez was named the District Co-Right Side Hitter of the Year and Co-Offensive Player of the Year during the 2016-2017 season. She was also named First Team All-District as an outside hitter and Second Team District as a defender in 2015-16. Gomez was also the Defensive MVP for the varsity soccer program in 2015-16. She played club volleyball for RGV Venom.

PERSONAL:
Gomez is the daughter of Azeneth and Isacc Gomez, and has four siblings. She is majoring in nursing.
