Â
TAMIU trailed early set three, by a score of 13-8. UAFS elected to take a timeout when the deficit was trimmed to 13-10, but the Dustdevils rode the momentum of those two points by sophomore

Â
The run included an 11-0 run after the Lady Lions made the score 14-12 and the overall run was 15-1 from the 13-8 score.
Â
In the final game-clinching set, UAFS once again held a lead midway through at 13-11. However, a 5-0 TAMIU spurt opened the lead to 16-13 and the Dustdevils went on to close out the Lady Lions, 25-20.
