DENTON, Texas – Texas A&M International men's golf concluded its regular season, placing fourth at the DBU Men's Classic, hosted by Dallas Baptist University.

TAMIU shot a -9 (855) for the tournament with a round one (+1, 289), round two (-4, 284) and a -6 (282) tin the final round.

Sophomore
Mauricio Figueroa, the reigning LSC Men's Golfer of the Week after his individual win at the King Alfred Invitational paced the Dustdevils with a second place finish.
Figueroa shot an impressive -11 (205) for the tournament, posting a first round -1 (71), second round -7Â (65) and a final round score of -3 (69). His second round 65, was the second lowest card entry of the tournament.

Freshman
Zaden Danielson followed with a T-22nd with a -1 (216). After a +3 (75) first round, he scored a -2 (70) in rounds two and three, jumping 11 spots in the final round.

Graduate student
Prin Phokan matched Danielson's -1 (216) to also T-22nd. Phokan opened with a -3 (69), followed by a +2 (74) second round and an E (72) to end the tournament.
Senior
Santiago Garcia finished in a T-41st with a +4 (220), while freshman
Gunner Clapper rounded out the lineup in a T-64th with a +19 (235).
TAMIU now has two weeks to prepare for the LSC Championships that will take place Monday, Apr. 18 through Wednesday, Apr. 20 in Glen Rose, Texas.
