San Antonio, Texas – Texas A&M International volleyball capped a three-game road trip with a 3-2 (18-25, 25-17, 25-13, 22-25, 15-10) victory over St. Mary's.
The fifth set was tied 8-8 when the Dustdevils (15-7, 6-3 LSC ) went on a 6-2 run with Ariana Guerra delivering three kills, including the match winner.
TAMIU recorded 72 kills as a team while the Rattlers (10-12, 5-6 LSC) finished with 57.
Guerra led the Dustdevils with 22 kills, Mia Molina finished with 15 and Hannah Thompson totlaed 13.
Giulia Hortelan and Jasmin Garcia both served two aces and Garcia finished with a team-high four blocks.
Emma Lade dished out 62 assists and Hortelan tallied 21 digs.
TAMIU will be in action next at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 27 for a home match against UT Permian Basin (15-6, 6-4 LSC).
